Sequoia Tree seeds can be purchased online. You may want to have a few for demonstration or enough to give one to each person. You can also use oak balls or the seeds of another large tree, but Sequoia's are the largest tree - and living thing - on earth.

Do you see this little seed? This thing is smaller than your fist. It is the seed for certain type of tree. Yet from this tiny seed grows the largest living thing on earth - more massive than an elephant, bigger than a whale, huge-er than me after a church potluck! From this little seed will grow a Sequoia Redwood, which can be over 300 feet tall - taller than a 30 story building!

Sometimes we may think that we are little and can't do much. When you think that, remember this seed. And just as from this seed grows the largest living thing on earth, so too from you can grow the mightiest thing on earth – Christ’s love for all of God’s Children.
